I was born and raised in the North Star State of Minnesota and have lived in New York City for over a decade. Consequently, I have a mix of Midwest Nice and New York Cynicism coursing through my veins.
When I’m asked at the Thanksgiving dinner table what I do I generally respond, “I’m a multidisciplinary artist with an emphasis on devised comedy work.” Which means I do improv.
I’m a big fan of the show The X-Files and believe in most paranormal things because: why not! I wouldn’t call myself a Star Wars fan because I like Star Wars too much.
I’ve trained at Second City, The PIT, Brooklyn Comedy Collective, and hold a degree in the acting for film and television from NYCDA.
